1 Killed in 2-Car Accident on Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay

 
SAN FRANCISCO BAY, CA (June 28, 2022) — One person died in a 2-car crash on the Bay Bridge near the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, one car crashed after veering off the right-hand side and overturned.
 
At some point, a second vehicle became involved in the accident and was found sideways in the slow lane by authorities.
 
Arriving emergency personnel rendered emergency life-saving efforts on one individual. However, that person died shortly after.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the leading cause of the crash and the victim’s identity. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
