SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 18, 2024) — Paramedics took a patient to a hospital following a multi-car accident that sent a truck crashing into a building on Sierra Highway near the 14 Freeway.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the multi-car crash happened around 3:16 p.m. Monday. A driver reportedly tried to pull his emergency brake when his brakes gave out on him. Subsequently, his truck hit a gray Toyota Prius and a blue Hyundai Elantra before slamming into the side of Chi Chi’s Pizza.
 
As a result, one person suffered unknown injuries and required hospital care.
 
After the crash, authorities investigated the accident but made no arrests.
