2 Hospitalized After SUV Hits Light Rail Train on N Street in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 19, 2023) — Two people reported minor injuries after a car crashed into a light rail train at N Street and 8th Street.
 
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the car accident happened around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver of an SUV collided with a Sacramento Regional Transit Light Rail train at the intersection.
 
The driver suffered minor injuries and sought hospital care. In addition, a person on board the train reported minor injuries but declined medical transport.
