Three-Vehicle Accident on North Reseda Boulevard in Porter Ranch Kills Teenage Boy

 
PORTER RANCH, CA (October 22, 2022) – A 17-year-old boy died in a three-vehicle accident on North Reseda Boulevard in the Porter Ranch area of Los Angeles late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:35 p.m. on October 22. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, three vehicles collided at 11001 North Reseda Boulevard.
 
First responders found the teen trapped inside one of the vehicles. The teen suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed nine other people to trauma centers, with six in critical condition and three in fair condition. Seven of the patients were adults and two were minors, though their ages were not provided.
 
Crews closed Reseda Boulevard in both directions between San Fernando Mission Boulevard and Chatsworth Street while they cleared the wreckage.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
