REDDING, CA (August 25, 2022) – Paramedics recorded injuries in a two-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway on August 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hilltop Drive shortly after 3:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, the two vehicles collided in the northbound of the freeway. Subsequently, one of the vehicles went through the freeway’s center divider and landed in the southbound lanes.
 
As a result, the commotion blocked the southbound lanes of the freeway, backing up traffic past the Lake Boulevard exit.
