MARIN COUNTY, CA (June 7, 2022) — One person was injured in a car accident on Pt. Reyes-Petaluma Road near Nicasio Valley Road on Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, two cars collided while enroute to Nicasio Valley Road.
 
As a result, paramedics took one person to a hospital with major injuries. Following the accident, authorities closed the westbound lanes of Point Reyes-Petaluma Road for the investigation.
