Construction Worker Hurt After Steel Frame Falls at Port of Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (May 11, 2022) — A construction worker suffered serious injuries after a steel frame collapsed at the Port of Long Beach near the 710 Freeway.
 
According to reports, the incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Friday. For unknown reasons, a steel frame scaffold partially collapsed at the Port of Long Beach. As a result, one construction worker sustained major injuries that required immediate attention.
 
Shortly after, Long Beach Fire Department paramedics responded and brought the victim to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, two others involved in the incident received care at the scene.
