GRASS VALLEY, CA (May 3, 2022) — Mark Tate suffered major injuries after he crashed his car into a power pole and a parked vehicle on Duggans Road near Kasza Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 11:10 a.m. on Saturday. For unknown reasons, 62-year-old Tate lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup. Subsequently, his southbound pickup drifted off the road and struck a PG&E power pole before hitting a parked 1991 Toyota 4Runner.
 
As a result of the accident, Tate, of Nevada County, suffered major non-life-threatening injuries. Soon after, paramedics responded and brought him to a Roseville hospital for treatment.
