Teen Dies in 2-Car Crash on Temperance Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 7, 2022) — A teen died in a car accident on Temperance Avenue at North Avenue on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 12:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Toyota RAV4 failed to stop at the stop sign at Temperance Avenue.
 
Subsequently, the RAV4 veered into the path of an oncoming Toyota Corolla, where the Corolla struck the passenger side of the RAV4.
 
Due to the impact, the RAV4 overturned several times and ejected a 19-year-old passenger who died shortly after.
 
At this time, reports have identified the victim only by his surname, Gourav. However, his full name and the circumstances of the crash will be released once we receive additional information. Anyone with details on this crash should contact the sheriff’s deputies.
