15-Year-Old Hurt in Eureka Hit-and-Run Skateboarding Crash at Henderson Street

 
EUREKA, CA (February 17, 2022) — A 15-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run skateboarding accident at Henderson Street and A Street on February 12.
 
According to Eureka police officers, the hit-and-run incident happened around 8:47 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a gray four-door sedan struck the 15-year-old female while she was skateboarding. Soon after, the driver left the scene, leaving her with moderate injuries.
 
Shortly after, Humboldt Bay Fire and City Ambulance responded to the area and brought the juvenile to a nearby hospital with moderate facial and head injuries.
