Fatal Pedestrian Accident Occurs on 91 Freeway at Highway 57 in Anaheim

 
ANAHEIM, CA (January 31, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on westbound 91 Freeway on January 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Highway 57 around 10:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, the female pedestrian was running across lanes of the freeway. Due to unknown reasons, a Nissan Quest came and struck her.
 
As a result, authorities said the victim died at the scene. They did not immediately release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, the accident closed all eastbound lanes of the freeway transition road to give way to a clearing operation.
