Two-Vehicle Accident at North 10th and Commercial Streets in San Jose Leaves Rider Dead

 
SAN JOSE, CA (November 4, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle accident at North 10th Street and Commercial Street.
 
The accident happened around 5:36 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3. According to the San Jose Police Department, the victim was riding a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle northbound North 10th Street. At the same time, the driver of a 2013 Peterbilt garbage truck was leaving a business yard and made a left turn onto southbound North 10th Street.
 
The motorcyclist collided with the truck on the driver’s side, causing them fatal injuries. They died at the scene.
 
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
