PORTERVILLE, CA (September 23, 2021) — Dominic AnayaCasarez faces charges in a fatal hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Road 236 near Avenue 112.
 
According to reports, the fatal event happened Wednesday around 2:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, 23-year-old AnayaCasarez drove his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt to the left lane into oncoming traffic. There, his Cobalt collided with a southbound 2006 Harley-Davidson whose driver was unable to avoid the crash.
 
As a result, the 57-year-old man on the Harley suffered significant injuries and died later at Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
 
Following the accident, AnayaCasarez reportedly left on foot, but officers became successful in arresting him for DUI and hit-and-run.
 
At this time, the crash requires further investigation. However, anyone with more information should contact the police.
