BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 27, 2021) – A man sustained major injuries in a pedestrian accident on Oak Street on August 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 24th Street around 11:41 PM.
 
Based on reports, the victim was in the road near the intersection at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, an unidentified vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered major injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment.
