Rider Dies after Colliding with Car in La Habra

 
LA HABRA, CA (August 8, 2021) – Dustin Tinoco died in a motorcycle accident in La Habra Monday afternoon, August 2.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive. According to the La Habra Police Department, the 21-year-old victim from Whittier was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a car for unknown reasons.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel rendered aid to Tinoco, before taking him to a local hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, he was declared dead.
 
Debris from the crash struck a nearby pedestrian, who was not seriously hurt, police said.
 
The involved driver was unharmed.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
