SALINAS, CA (July 16, 2021) — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run at Sanborn Road and Freedom Parkway in Salinas.
 
Based on reports from the Salinas police, the incident happened early Sunday morning, July 11. A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection of North Sanborn Road and Freedom Parkway. The unknown vehicle fled the scene after hitting the person.
 
The police have not disclosed the name and the condition of the pedestrian. There was also no word whether the person was transported to a hospital.
