Coroner Identifies Daytona Bronas, Sandra Mizer and Willow Sanchez as Fatal Victims of Hit-and-Run in Lucerne Valley

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (June 7, 2021) – Daytona Bronas, Sandra Mizer and Willow Sanchez died in a hit-and-run crash in Lucerne Valley late Saturday evening, June 5.
 
The crash happened around 10:19 p.m. on Camp Rock Road, just north of Rabbit Springs Road. CHP officials said four young girls, two of them in wheelchairs, were out for a late-night walk when a white 2002 Chevrolet Silverado struck them from behind.
 
Instead of rendering aid, the unknown driver and passenger exited the truck and fled the scene on foot.
 
As a result of the crash, three of the girls died at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Division released their names Monday morning. Daytona is 12 years old, Sandra is 13 and Willow is 11.
 
Paramedics airlifted the fourth victim, 14-year-old Natalie Coe, to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.
 
A GoFundMe account to help Sandra with her funeral expenses was created.
 
At this time, the suspects remain at large.
 
The Victorville California Highway Patrol station is handling the investigation. They urged anyone with information to call 760-241-1186.
