Police Arrest DUI Suspect Kenneth Kliebe after Crash on South Bonnyview Road in Redding

 
REDDING, CA (May 27, 2021) – Kenneth Anthony Kliebe was arrested in a DUI crash on South Bonnyview Road in Redding Thursday last week, May 20.
 
The crash happened around 7:40 p.m. on May 20, at Indianwood Drive near the South Bonnyview Boat Lauch. CHP officers responded to a traffic collision and discovered a white sedan turned on its side in the middle of the roadway. They also found a Chevrolet Tahoe that overturned before coming to a stop in a nearby field.
 
Several people involved in the crash were able to climb out of the two wrecked vehicles. Paramedics evaluated them at the scene. Luckily, none of them sustained serious injuries from the crash.
 
Police later determined that Kliebe, a 38-year-old man, was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. They arrested and booked him into the Shasta County Jail on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury and other related charges.
 
At this time, Redding Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
