Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Car at Nees Avenue and Sylmar Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (August 31, 2023) – Zein Al-Zoubi was killed in a motorcycle accident in Clovis Wednesday afternoon on August 30.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 12:00 p.m. at Nees Avenue and Sylmar Avenue. According to the Clovis Police Department, Al-Zoubi was riding her motorcycle eastbound on Nees Avenue. At the same time, a white car was heading west.
 
The driver of the car turned south on Sylmar Avenue and two vehicles collided.
 
Al-Zoubi was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
The driver of the car was unharmed.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was involved. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
