Skateboarder Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Blue Oaks Boulevard in Roseville

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (August 31, 2023) – A 32-year-old man was killed in a skateboard accident at Blue Oaks Boulevard and Roseville Parkway in Roseville on Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:14 p.m. on August 29. According to the Roseville Police Department, the man was riding his skateboard in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Paramedics responded and rushed the man to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with significant injuries.
 
On Wednesday, the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Police said that the driver was not driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
Further investigation is underway.
