DUI Crash in Pomona Leaves Three Women Dead

 
POMONA, CA (March 3, 2024) – Yesenia Olaez, Alejandra Olaez and Lorena Morales died in a DUI crash in Pomona late Saturday evening on March 2.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:00 p.m. at White Avenue and Phillips Boulevard. According to the Pomona Police Department, 36-year-old Victor Siharath of Pomona was driving an SUV when he collided with another vehicle.
 
As a result of the crash, two women in the other vehicle died at the scene. A third woman died at the hospital.
 
Two other people in the second vehicle suffered moderate to severe injuries.
 
Authorities identified the fatal victims as 33-year-old Yesenia Olaez, 33-year-old Alejandra Olaez, and Lorena Morales. Morales was the driver of the other vehicle.
 
Police determined that Siharath was driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for felony DUI.
