Worker at Vaccine Clinic Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on Market Street

 
NEWHALL, CA (August 23, 2021) — A worker at a vaccine clinic was injured in a hit-and-run accident on Market Street near Newhall Avenue Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station, the hit-and-run crash happened around 4:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a possible dark gray sedan seemed to have intentionally struck a clinic worker with the car’s side mirror. As a result, the worker suffered a minor injury from the crash.
 
The driver fled the area after the incident, which authorities said included no verbal exchanges between the driver and any of the vaccine clinic workers at the site.
