Worker Hospitalized After Stairwell Collapses on Olympic Boulevard Construction Site in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 22, 2024) — A worker suffered severe injuries after a stairwell collapsed on him on Olympic Boulevard near Olive Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the construction accident happened at 226 W. Olympic Blvd. Around 11:30 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a stairwell at the construction site in downtown Los Angeles collapsed on a male worker. Soon after, Los Angeles Fire Department medics arrived and quickly freed him from the debris before shuttling him to a hospital with serious injuries.
