Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries after Hit by Jeep on Main Street in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (May 26, 2023) – A woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Main Street in Hesperia Saturday evening on May 20.
 
The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. near Balsam Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling east on Main Street and the female pedestrian was walking in the north direction.
 
For unknown reasons, the Jeep struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center. Her condition was not immediately available.
 
Crews shut down a portion of Main Street for several hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
An investigation into this accident is ongoing.
