Pickup Truck Crashes into Bus on Highway 138 in Phelan Injuring One Person

 
PHELAN, CA (May 26, 2023)– One person was hurt in a bus accident on Highway 138 in Phelan late Tuesday afternoon on May 23.
 
The accident happened around 5:02 p.m. at Highway 2. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck hit a Victor Valley transit bus at the intersection.
 
Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded and located the pickup truck with major front-end damage.
 
One person was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was involved. Further investigation is underway.
