35-Year-Old Pedestrian Suffers Head Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 65 in Lindsay

 
LINDSAY, CA (February 26, 2024) – A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 65 in Lindsay Saturday evening on February 24.
 
The crash happened shortly after 9:00 p.m. just north of Hermosa Street. According to the Lindsay Police Department, the 35-year-old Lindsay woman was crossing the highway when she was struck by a vehicle.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
Responding officers found the woman in the street suffering from significant head injuries. They rushed her to Kaweah Health Medical Center in an unknown condition.
 
Authorities believe alcohol is a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
