WESTMINSTER, CA (March 4, 2024) — A woman riding an electric bike was hit and killed by a car near Brookhurst Street and Bolsa Avenue.
 
According to reports, the fatal bicycle crash happened around 5:40 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman in her 60s riding an electric bicycle. Shortly after, Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded and found the woman on the pavement with grave injuries. However, despite receiving life-saving efforts, she passed away. Officials did not release her name.
 
Following the incident, the driver stayed on site and cooperated with police investigators who have yet to identify the leading cause of the crash. If anyone has seen this accident and can help Westminster police officers, please call their traffic Bureau.
