Two Vehicles Collide on Florence Avenue in Santa Fe Springs Killing One Person

 
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (February 12, 2023) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Florence Avenue and Carmenita Road in Santa Fe Springs on Thursday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:40 a.m. on February 9. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found an unconscious female occupant in one of the vehicles.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Another person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
