Woman Dies after Crashing Her SUV into Semi-Truck on 60 Freeway in Ontario

 
ONTARIO, CA (October 20, 2022) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway in Ontario early Saturday morning, October 15.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:20 a.m. just west of Grove Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 27-year-old woman from Rowland Heights was driving a 2021 Toyota eastbound on the freeway. At the same time, a 2015 Kenworth was stopped on the right shoulder of the eastbound freeway.
 
For unknown reasons, the Toyota veered to the right and left the roadway. It then struck the rear of the Kenworth’s trailer and went underneath it.
 
As a result of the crash, the woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The passenger in the Kenworth did not sustain any injuries.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
