Angel Rodela Jr. Dies in 2-Car Crash on Warren Road near Stetson Avenue

 
HEMET, CA (October 20, 2022) — Angel Rodela Jr. died in a 2-car accident on Warren Road near Stetson Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the Hemet Police Department, the deadly two-vehicle accident happened around 3:15 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver of a southbound Nissan driving at about 50 miles per hour drifted onto the right-hand shoulder.
 
As the Nissan driver tried to regain control of the wheel, the driver reportedly overcorrected, and the car skidded in a southeast direction into the northbound lane. Subsequently, the Nissan sedan crashed into a Toyota SUV, also moving at speeds of 50 miles per hour.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced a rear-seat Nissan passenger, later identified as 39-year-old Rodela Jr., deceased at the scene.
 
Medics also brought three people to a regional trauma center for treatment of major injuries. However, they are expected to recover, reports noted.
 
At this time, police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a factor in the accident. Although, an investigation into the crash should clarify all other details. If anyone has more information, please call 951-765-2400.
