Two-Car Accident on 6th Avenue in Hanford Kills 1 Passenger
HANFORD, CA (July 11, 2021) – A woman was killed in a two-car accident at 6th Avenue and Excelsior Avenue Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on July 10 near Hanford. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was a passenger of a 2013 Toyota Camry that was traveling on 6th Avenue. A 2018 Dodge Ram ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the Camry.
As a result, the woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only identified her as a 29-year-old Kingsburg resident.
At this time, drugs or alcohol was not considered as a factor in the crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
