Woman Dies after Struck by Metro Train near Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station in Koreatown

 
KOREATOWN, CA (September 30, 2021) – A woman died in a train accident near Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 1:05 p.m. on September 29, in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the woman had possibly jumped in front of a Red Line Metro train.
 
Firefighter paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
At this time, the fatal accident is under investigation.
