Passenger Dies after Vehicle Crashes on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 16, 2022) – A woman was killed in an accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:21 p.m. on January 14 near Palm Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the 34-year-old female passenger in the car suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:36 p.m.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately available.
 
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending family notification.
 
At this time, the crash is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol – Inland Division.
