HYDE PARK, CA (February 28, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident at Slauson Avenue and Alviso Avenue on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on February 26. According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division, the woman was crossing the Hyde Park crosswalk when a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was not yet identified.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene.
 
At this time, it is unclear what factors led to the crash. An investigation is underway.
