Woman Killed in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on 108th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 28, 2022) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 108th Street at Central Avenue on Wednesday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 9:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver operating a white box truck struck the woman on the road.
 
Subsequently, the driver left the area without rendering aid.
 
The victim, described as a 50-year-old woman, sustained grave injuries.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and pronounced her dead at the scene. At this time, information as to what led to the accident, or the identity of the hit-and-run driver requires further investigation. Therefore, any witnesses with information should contact the LAPD.
