1 Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Arlington Avenue in Arlington Heights

 
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, CA (November 16, 2023) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Arlington Avenue near Pico Boulevard.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday. In the 1500 block of South Arlington Avenue, a male and female pedestrian began crossing the street outside a crosswalk. Subsequently, a southbound vehicle moving at an excessive speed knocked down the man and plowed into the female pedestrian, sending her several feet from the point of impact. Subsequently, a northbound vehicle struck her.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded, but the woman died in the accident.
 
Although the first car, believed to be a black four-door Infiniti left the scene, the 24-year-old driver of the second car stayed.
