Late Evening Hit-and-Run on Campus Drive in Arvin Leaves Pedestrian Dead

 
ARVIN, CA (June 7, 2021) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Campus Drive and Sunset Boulevard near Arvin late Wednesday evening.
 
The incident happened around 10:02 p.m. on June 2. According to the California Highway Patrol, a male driver of a vehicle did not see the woman, therefore hit her. After the crash, the man fled westbound on Sunset Boulevard.
 
First responders found the woman lying in the roadway. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Authorities described the vehicle as a black four-door sedan with a broken windshield and front-end damage.
