Passenger Dies after Car Crashes into Pole on Division Street in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (August 4, 2024) – A woman was killed in a car accident at Division Street and Lancaster Boulevard early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:15 a.m. on August 3. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster Station, a silver sedan was heading north on Division Street when it left the roadway and crashed into a pole at Lancaster Boulevard.
 
As a result of the crash, the female passenger suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the male driver to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
 
It was unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The sheriff’s Lancaster station urged anyone with further information to call them at 661-948-8466.
