Truck Hits 2 Cars on 805 Freeway in Sorrento Valley, Leaving Woman with Fractured Pelvis

 
SORRENTO VALLEY, CA (April 19, 2023) – A woman was injured in a traffic accident on 805 Freeway in Sorrento Valley Monday morning on April 17.
 
The accident happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. at Miramar Road. According to the San Diego Police Department, the 46-year-old male driver of a 2020 Hino truck was traveling north on the freeway when he crossed over the center median. He then collided with a 2016 Toyota Camry, driven by a 37-year-old man, and a 2016 Subaru, driven by a 76-year-old woman.
 
Both the Camry and Subaru were attempting to continue westbound on Miramar Road.
 
As a result of the crash, the woman driving the Subaru sustained a fractured pelvis.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
Police are still conducting their investigation to determine the cause of the crash and factors involved.
