Driver Suffers Medical Emergency and Crashes into Oncoming Cars on South Cost Highway in Laguna Beach

 
LAGUNA BEACH, CA (December 13, 2021) – A woman was injured in a two-car accident on South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, late Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on December 8 at the intersection with Moss Street. According to the Laguna Beach Police Department, a woman suffered a medical emergency while driving her SUV and veered into oncoming traffic. It then collided with two other cars.
 
Laguna Beach Firefighters responded to the scene and found the woman suffering from unspecified injuries. They took her to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo for proper treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the occupants of the other vehicles did not sustain any injuries.
 
All vehicles sustained moderate damage from the crash.
 
At this time, police are still investigating the accident.
