Woman Hurt in Fontana Pedestrian Crash on Slover Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (September 1, 2021) — A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Slover Avenue near Date Avenue Monday morning.
 
According to Fontana Police officers, the incident happened around 4:22 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a westbound red GMC Yukon struck a pedestrian walking eastbound in the westbound lane. Following the crash, the driver pulled over and waited for authorities to arrive.
 
Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and transported the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of significant head trauma.
