Woman Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash near Maple Avenue in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 13, 2024) — A woman required hospital care following a multi-car accident at Maple Avenue and Mauna Loa Street Monday morning.
 
San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to the scene around 7:00 a.m. on August 12. Upon arriving, paramedics found a green GMC Yukon, a silver Toyota Camry and a white Chevy Tahoe that collided.
 
Due to the accident, a person was trapped and required extrication. A woman who was driving the Camry suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center. Later reports noted that she underwent a broken hip and wrist surgery.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the ultimate cause of the accident. However, those who have insight can call the Hesperia Police Department.
