Late Evening Hit-and-Run Crash on Watt Avenue in North Highlands Leaves Pedestrian Injured

 
NORTH HIGHLANDS (June 13, 2022) – A woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash at Watt Avenue and Winona Way in North Highlands late Wednesday evening.
 
The crash happened around 10:43 p.m. on June 8. According to the California Highway Patrol, a female pedestrian was crossing the intersection when a vehicle struck her.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
First responders took the woman to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the crash and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
