Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Lincoln Boulevard in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (August 21, 2023) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Lincoln Boulevard near Ophir Road.
 
According to the Oroville California Highway Patrol Office, the hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened on August 17 around 10:38 p.m. For an unknown reason, a driver in what officers believe was a Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck hit a woman walking near the west edge of Lincoln Boulevard.
 
The driver fled the scene, leaving the victim with injuries.
 
Now, authorities need witnesses’ help identifying the driver and vehicle involved. To anyone who has more information, please call the CHP.
