CARLSBAD, CA (August 3, 2021) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at College Boulevard and Salk Way Friday night.
 
According to the Carlsbad Police Department, the hit-and-run incident happened around 11:07 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown make and model struck the 26-year-old. Soon after, officers responded and found the female on the road with life-threatening injuries.
 
Due to her injuries, paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and transported her to a hospital for immediate treatment.
