Speeding Driver Triggers Collision on Highway 168 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (November 28, 2022) — A woman suffered injuries in a collision on Highway 168 in Fresno on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near McKinley Avenue. The woman was driving a small gray Toyota in the middle lane at a high rate of speed. She then veered into the fast lane where she collided with a vehicle.
 
The Toyota driver then overcorrected, causing her to swerve onto the slow lane. She subsequently slammed into a white truck that is filled with oranges. Both vehicles went down the embankment afterward.
 
The woman driving the Toyota had minor injuries and received treatment in a hospital. The occupants of the first vehicle and the truck did not report any injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP said that alcohol or drugs were not factors in the collision. However, they are investigating it as a reckless driving incident.
