Woman Hospitalized Following Car Crash in Santa Barbara

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 28, 2022) — A total of four people sustained injuries in a car crash at Patterson Avenue and Cathedral Oaks Road in Santa Barbara.
 
The incident, which happened on Friday afternoon, involved two cars. Based on initial reports, paramedics took one of the injured parties to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Officials have not released the name of the patient but said she is a woman in her 60s. There was no further information, however, on whether the other three required transport to and treatment in a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, both cars sustained moderate damage. Traffic was blocked at around 2:32 p.m. but all lanes reopened a few hours later.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
