Woman Sustained Head Injuries after Car Accident on Fir Avenue and Jackson Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (April 28, 2021) — A woman suffered injuries in a car accident on Fir Avenue in northeast Fresno on Friday, April 23.
 
According to the police, they received calls about a crash victim who jumped out of a moving car. They rushed to the area on Fir Avenue and Jackson Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.
 
When they arrived at the scene, witnesses said they saw a woman jump out of a car. Then the woman hit her head on the rear tire of that vehicle.
 
The driver of the vehicle immediately pulled over to assist her passenger.
 
Medics rushed the woman, whose identity was not immediately available, to Community Regional Medical Center. She is expected to survive her sustained injury.
 
Police said that the woman had been drinking before the incident. They added that they have not yet determined why she jumped out of the car.
