Woman Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 17, 2023) — A woman suffered significant injuries in a 2-car accident on Highway 41 at Nebraska Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 4:00 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a woman in a westbound van stopped her vehicle in the middle of the intersection after approaching a stop sign. Subsequently, a work truck slammed into the van, causing significant injuries to the woman.
 
Soon after, paramedics took the woman to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver complained of pain and stayed for the investigation.
 
Thus far, CHP officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have played a part in the collision, but they plan to look into this crash more closely. Anyone with news to share can call the CHP.
