Woman Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Belmont Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (June 6, 2022) — A woman was injured in a car accident on Belmont Avenue at Fulton Street on Friday morning.
 
According to Fresno Police officers, the two-vehicle collision happened around 1:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver heading eastbound on Belmont Avenue collided with another driver heading southbound on Fulton Street.
 
As a result of the impact, one of the cars caught on fire, injuring a woman whom authorities brought to a hospital shortly after.
 
As for the second driver involved, he or she reported no injuries in the crash.
